Oregon Duck Football

Here we go again. Another Pac-10 season with so many questions facing this Oregon duck football team.

I'm not buying into the hype that Nate Costa will fill the shoes of Dennis Dixon. It's way too early to tell if the Duck offense can move the ball like it did last year. And no Duck qb who hasn't played a full season has ever led the ducks to a significant bowl..not joey, not kellen. This year I see the ducks losing 3 games (SC, ASU and either Cal or Oregon State).

Should the ducks fare better give credit to the defense which is the only legit squad so far.

With Costas limited playing time, I think Kelly will do a lot of short passes and run the ball more. Field position will be key as Oregon will have to punt a lot more this year as Costa will have trouble converting third and longs.

The defense must be healthy for Oregon to win since they will likely be on the field longer this year. Reed, and Chung should have giant years as teams try to play away from them.
